New Adventure with Pure Romance

I decided to put my cupcake-making on hiatus, as most of you know.  There were various issues. Keeping the kitchen completely sanitary with two babies, not having a separate kitchen to bake in, not having two ovens, not being busy enough to bulk-order supplies (like cupcake boxes, which are crazy expensive) and not being able to advertise/market because I wasn’t fully licensed or inspected. So it was time to move on… for now. But I’ve been wanting a part-time job to feel like I’m contributing again, and also because I want money to cover my student loans when they start back up.

I was on Facebook and my friend Tiffanie posted something about her Pure Romance business. I knew she had been doing it for a while (3 years) and making money from it, so I started my research. I’d looked at it before but was unsure if I wanted to do it or not. I wrote down the pros & cons because I still sort through things that way. The pros were extra income, not a lot upfront to invest, super fun products, and getting to have a girl’s night multiple times per week. The cons mostly surrounded the stigma of selling adult products, but that quickly faded away when I realized that this company focuses on relationship enhancement and education and has a wide variety of goodies to make women feel good about themselves and their choices.

I decided that Pure Romance was right for me and called a couple friends squealing into the phone.  It was the part-time job I had been looking for, and it was going to be my own business that I could run how I wanted and when I wanted. Tiffanie answered a lot of my questions but never pressured me, I didn’t feel like I was being talked into something (I didn’t have to be, I loved this), which was different than some of the other direct sales experiences I’ve had.

So here I am, a Pure Romance Consultant, ready to host parties and educate women. It’s fun explaining my new company to people and I love hearing their thoughts on it. Some don’t understand it, and that’s okay, too. Some people are just annoyed because they’ve hosted 100 in-home parties and don’t see how this could be any different. Oh, but it is! It’s SO much fun! I think we all can agree that nurturing a healthy relationship takes effort and novelty, and laughing at ourselves around friends and family is something we need more of these days! Everything doesn’t have to be taken so seriously! Life should have some passion and we should explore our intimate lives! Exclamation pointsss!

Feel free to come by my website for my business, do some online shopping, host a party, or ask me how to become a Consultant if you’re wanting to make some extra cash, too. I promise it’s not hard and doesn’t feel like a cult ;) I’ve actually been surprised at how many “normal” people are doing this and are very successful. So here’s to Pure Romance! My new adventure! Ow ow!
